I had another go, went for 100 subs at 70 secs each. The EOS utility lost connection at 67 so I ended up going back to my normal shutter controller and for some reason, this only took 24 darks! Anyway, I stacked in DSS again, I think its an improvement on yesterday's shot but i'd like to get more detail out on the arms - would processing in PS help this?

Much better framed. Try playing with colour balance, a very small touch of curves and levels in PS. PS has a noise reduction filter as well. There are some ways to remove the vignetting in PS. Doug German does a couple of videos on Gradient removal on you tube that are good. Processing is the hardest part!
