......if so you might like to come to the British Astronomical Association's "Back to basics workshop" at St Asaph on Saturday October 10.

This is open to members and non-members, but pre-booking is essential as space is limited.

Our hosts are North Wales AS, Gwynedd AS and Llandyrnog AS and the venue is OpTIC Technium, Glyndŵr University. Just off the Donkey, there are also good links to NW England.

The programme of talks and practical sessions covers basic techniques, including what equipment do I need?, solar observing, lunar observing, starting radio astronomy, imaging for beginners. Details and booking form can be found here: https://britastro.org/meeting_render/6142
