hi folks,

just kitted myself out with an 8" goto and want to find a decent dark sky site to give it a decent whirl (back garden not exaclty optimised for deep space). anyone who would also like to star gaze is welcome and recommended sites within an hour of East London would be perfect - my next step is Google earth for some area scanning - advice greatly appreciated!

looking forward to sharing, learning and enjoying the night sky
