Hi Janice & family - welcome to SGL!  I'm sure you'll get a lot of pleasure from the 'scope.  There will plenty of folk on here to answer your questions - and there'll be plenty of questions to ask I'm sure :)    Don't forget to tell us what kind of mount you have for the telescope too.

Enjoy the new found interest - I'm certain the youngsters will.
