neodynium (sp) filters?

ok just a quick question these filters supposedly cut out lp glow from streetlights etc. and also up the contrast of nebs and gals.

does anyone have any experience of these that they can share with me?

They filter out some of the light pollution, it depends on what type of light pollution you have.

I use one all the time. Improves things where I live, I have an 8" F5 reflector.
