Hi,

I had no plan to image last night but took advantage of a rare long clear night and decided to do a wide field of the Tulip. Being lazy I went for a modded DSLR.

The image is nothing to write home about but this is the only image of mine that has had no NR applied to it either in PI or in PS in any shape or form.

I also took care to make sure that the Darks were a good match to the lights, the entire frame sets used are all within 3C of the lights. The big problem in processing this image was how to control millions of stars in this region and trying to separate the nebulosity over the entire area from the stars. I really did miss a good strong layer of Ha here.

16 X 900s subs, Baader Modded canon 1100d @ iso 1600, Astronomik CLS clip, WO Star71 and HEQ5. APT, PI and PS.

101 Bias, 35 Flats and 15 Darks were used  for calibration.

Thanks for looking.

Regards,

A.G
