For under 30 quid these are impressive bringing out many times more stars than the naked eye can see.

I have used these to find stuff to aim the DSLR at e.g. Andromeda galaxy which are not naked eye objects where I live.

They come with a case and dust caps for both ends as well as a socket for the tripod mount adapter (available seperately).

Biggest gripe is with the rubber eye cups. These are adjustable in and out by turning them and the "thread" inside the cup is very roughly cut. So much so that I just had a lump of the swarf fall into my eye - not very pleasant.

Moral - if you're worried don't buy them, if you buy them, check for debris before raising them to look up.

Thanks for the opinion Captain, I'm after a pair of 10x50. They sound just right for me....nothing fancy but OK quality.
