What are the chances! I'm a "newby" by name and a "newby" at anything astronomy :)

Live on the south coast of England where we get the most hours of our "glorious" English summer haha!

Bought myself a Skywatcher 130p + auto tracking mount in june 2015 & have been gobsmacked ever since!

Also a novice photographer, when I get the time.

Starting to get my head around everything, so much to learn though.

Great site here with good advice & very friendly, knowledgeable people to boot!

So.. Hi everyone :p

Hi and welcome. This is the place to be if your a Newby. I only started 8 weeks ago and have had lots of help from other members. Just ask the question and the answers come rolling in.

Awww that was a warm welcome. Hoping to get out in the yard tonight (clear skies pending). Missed the blue moon other night as was exhausted from getting married the day before :)

Thanks all ;)

Congratulations on joining SGL. Oh yes and the married bit.

As long as you're away from the bright city lights you should get some really good views on the South coast.

Richard.
