Baby Hubble

Hello from Baby Hubble

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have just joined SGL, have been involved in the night sky for a couple of years now, last year I got my own telescope a skywatcher esprite 80ed pro, a few lenses and camera bits. I am sure like most newbies I will be asking some silly questions as I go.

Go on, tell us the mount that you also got.

As an edit: You two, BH and Jamie, have to be close to each other, Bonnybridge doesn't look that big.

An esprit 80 ed will be my next scope.  They are supposed to be awesome for imaging

Cheers,

So why did he reply as if he didn't know you? :icon_scratch: :icon_scratch: :icon_scratch:

NEQ6's are big lumps, but the Espirit 80 shouldn't be too much weight for it to handle. :D :D :D

Hi Mark,

Yeah took a bit of looking and chatting at the astro group I go to before this scope was finally chosen, I have a Nikon DSLR 3100, but might change later on, undecided just now.

Hi Ronin,

Yeah it sure is a big lump of a mount, but if I decide to change my scope should be good enough to cope with it.

Can't wait to start using it.

Welcome. Have fun.

Mind you, it seems as if you are already having fun, what with a pal, an astro group, a nice scope, etc., etc.

Rock on.

That's a great little scope - very sharp and fast!

I look forward to seeing the pictures  :wink2:
