Another flat question - using an iPad

Hi

Has anybody used an iPad to take flats? I checked and it covers the aperture of my scope so in that sense it's OK. Set a torch app to white and it's fairly well illuminated. Saves 30 quid on an A4 light panel from Amazon.

Thoughts?
