Hi everyone, new to all this, just started getting into stargazing and in the process of buying a new scope. Conditions here in Cyprus seem to be good for stargazing as the skys are clear and not to much light pollution. Its very hot at the moment but the evenings are a bit cooler. Looking forward to learning a new hobby and getting to grips with the sky at night. Cheers all.

Hi lancman and welcome to SGL, I am sure you will delight in using your telescope in Cyprus, once it has arrived, at least you will have the advantage of some nice clear skies, something we look forward to when they arrive here in the UK, but I am afraid, to the disappointment of many, they don`t come on a regular basis, enjoy the forum :)
