Oh, I have hour-long subs as well. All you need is a stable rig on a mount with modeling (and encoders definitely helps).

Great image, very deep... I just finished imaging this nebula in narrowband using a modded canon 40D DSLR and my exposure time was about 2.5 times longer and I didn't even come close to capturing the faint Nebulosity you did with the QSI683.

Thanks, Mars! You really need a monochrome CCD for this kind of imaging. Any one-shot colour solution is bound to be inferior, unfortunately.
