Love it!

I bought my beloved 6.25" "export grade" newt off old Dud in the early 80's - brand new.  There wasn't much choice then, most certainly not in my extremely limited financial constraints. I loved that old scope and still do. The mount is in a poor state now but still a solid as ever. 

Oh, polar aligning the Mk3  I used to kick the feet rather than slacken the bolts to the pier. Having said that, I've never been big into polar alignment, particularly for non-GoTo visual.

I still have nothing but fond memories of that era!
