I am the organiser of the National Astronomy Meeting (NAM) this year and also the Astronomy Secretary of the RAS.  I am writing to let you know that Martin Rees, the Astronomer Royal will be giving a public lecture at Venue Cymru in Llandudno on Tuesday 7th July and Dr Lewis Dartnell will be giving a talk on Sunday 5th July.  The details are attached.

 

As your society is based in North Wales I thought your members would like to know.  The FAS will be including details in their next newsletter but I thought I'd also send them to you a little in advance.  

 

I hope you can pass details on to your members so they can take advantage of the opportunity so close to home.
