It doesn't matter what we name anything here on our little and very insignificant Earth. A being somewhere else in another part of the Universe probably already has a different and  just as stupid a name.

I don't think I've ever watched or paid attention to a soccer game. I'm a hockey guy. Only one I know who played for the Galaxy was the supposedly handsome guy who bends the ball a lot.

I'm not too concerned, with an estimated 200 billion or so galaxies we could name one after every professional footballer and not make a noticeable dent in their numbers.
