Looking for a 10-12X magnification binoculars.

Hello,
I have a very old and very used 10x50 binocular, with occasional golpe.y not very good quality optical-mechanical,. and I'm thinking of buying some other similar model ..
because I think the relationship is good magnification x diameter.
I'm looking at several possibilities (models):
  - 10x50
-11x56
-10x56
-12x56

I would use to both day (birding) to astronomy ..
I have tripod and monopod
In your any opinion of these models would highlight above the rest?
You have been able to compare some of them?
My budget is not very high, and I already have some binocular, 7x35,8x40,10x50 (the model somewhat "touched")

I'd advise you to find a local stockist with a decent range on the shelf and go and try some out.

All very well being advised on this brand or that model but as they are a very personal item they need to be seen / held / used before purchase.

You may find a real 'bargain' online but the saving of a few pounds will soon be overshadowed if you are not comfortable with them.

Good advice from Steve above. Anything above 12X will require some extra support. A good pair of 10*50's are usually in most astronomers kit bags.
