a spectacular mosaic! I use iMerge program to make them which do you use?

A few days ago exactly I captured the same region, Ptolemaeus, Alphonsus and Arzachel but unfortunately with Arzachel did not get a correct alignment in AS! 2 which prevented it from obtaining a similar mosaic.

Over time, this is one of my favorite craters, have several interesting close-ups of it. In my opinion rivals Copernicus and Tycho who are also craters with a central peak and pronunciad

Hello

Very bad conditions for this large image, low Moon, very hard turbulence, this image is made in IR 805 but as it is made I show it. Mosaïc of 4.

Clear sky.

Fantastic...now I have a mark position as standard  to get out there and try it myself.

Many thanks for sharing !

I guess that Luc has an internal feed to LRO here ...that's the reason he can have these beautiful images... :)

No idea what happened there.....

Anyway those images blew my mind, I'm too busy chasing dso's and being disappointed the moon was up.

I obviously totally overlooked our nearest friend and was ignorant it was that detailed.

Beautiful very well done I'm hooked.
