Double Cluster

You get so used to picking out the few bright stars and familiar sights in a light polluted sky that when you get to a truly dark sky and then realise how difficult it is to find your normal landmarks because they are almost swamped in stars ;), wow how wonderful. You also realise that the sky is grey from starlight, not the usual orange.

Thanks guys for all the generous comments.

Imaging from a dark site is so easy, not having to battle in Photoshop for hours with processing out light pollution makes imaging a pleasure. The Skywatcher ED80 is also a superb instrument for imaging this type of subject - I love it ;) , best purchase I have made - everyone should have one, forget aperture fever, and have fun.
