June 4, 2015: Finally another mosaic (22 pane)

Recommended Posts

I spent last week in Reykjavik at a conference, and had no access to a solar scope, let alone my imaging kit. This week has been dismal so far, but today the morning was as fine as you could wish for. I snapped some data after breakfast, ran the AVIs through PIPP to select the 300 best frames out of 1000, and then started a batch process in AS!2 to stack 100 from each sequence. When I got back after work, the 22 frames were waiting for LR deconvolution plus unsharp masking and curves in ImPPG (batch processing again), stitching in AutoStitch for win64, and final tweaks in GIMP.

Grey scale:

Part inverted:

Pseudo colour:

Part inverted plus pseudo colour:

Not perhaps the spectacular action seen before, but I am glad i could grab some data and get some full disks again
