Storage container for Celestron C11.

Recommended Posts

Wondering what people are using for a container to carry and store their C11 scope.

I heard it said that a tool box would work.

I have a cardboard box right now but there has to be something more professional and secure..

Cheaper still are regular hard case suitcases packed with foam Tens of pounds not hundreds.

PS I have a standard "Stanley" roll along toolbox

I will have a look at the Stanley tool box. I heard about that but didn't really believe that was true..

Thanks...

It might be worth contacting a local stage equipment company as they normally can sort flight cases to all sorts or sizes, that is if your looking for something heavy duty.

Hi,

I have a C11 and I use one of these from B & Q lined with foam. Its just the right fit thought doesn't allow for too much padding but I've not had any issues with it.

There is also a 76L one in the same design, not sure which one I have but its leaves about half a foot on either side and an inch on the sides.

Did the B&Q container come with the foam and if it did, was it cut specifically for the C11?
