celestron 25x70 skymaster binoculars any good

Has any one bought these binoculars and what did you make of them

Do not have any but you will need a tripod or monopod to attach them to, they are not really in the hand held bracket - too heavy and the image will be all over the view.

This in turn means you cannot turn round and look at another bit of the sky the same way as you do with say 8x42's or 10x50's.

As they are on a tripod/monopod then you need one that will go high enough so you are not bending over or in some odd position to look through them.

If you do not therefore already have a good tripod/monopod add in that to the cost.
