Meanwhile, back with something that will fit happily on an AZ-4 - My Vixen ED102SS doing a little white light solar today. My reward was just one teeny, weeny sunspot. Nice afternoon to be out anyway

It's certainly the mount that makes it in my opinion.

I think Mike needs to set up a sideline pimping up and customizing scopes / mounts / tripods ?

My OCD is now screaming to me that I need to spray my mount and pillar duck egg blue too, with perhaps a matching finderscope on the Stellarview as well ????

It is, there's just a lovely amount of earth shine giving a hint of the unilluminated face.. just watch as a star occultation on the far limb.. lovely stuff..

The moon does look lovely tonight doesn't it? I can't officially comment here though because I wasn't using a frac! ?

Yep - the Skytee happened to be on the Berlebach and I couldn't be bothered to switch things around - keen to get out there !

Were you using the Mewlon ?
