Not as big as many others in this thread - but here's my Startravel 150/750 f5 on its first outing after acquisition at the start of the year:

No real set-up. Just point and shoot, so to speak.  All I wanted to do was prove it all worked and the optics were clean.  Scope needs a clean and the mount needs a service, but that's cool.

Not saying it was cold, but the dew froze on the scope - and the patio froze over.

That head torch is pretty fine though. 👍

This has been my winter project: a dual-scope rig that I can operate fully remotely. Between Seattle winter weather, some issues getting the spacing right on a new focuser, misconfiguration disguised as mechanical failure on the smaller focuser, and (of course) misalignments between the two scopes, it took me six months to go from decision to the first successful, "fully remote" overnight run. (It's in my back yard at the moment, but operated via RemotePC over the interwebs.) On top is a TEC-140, bottom is a SkyWatcher Esprit ED-80 on an Optec Libra plate. The Libra plate is a nice piece of kit: heavy, but easy to adjust and holds its position night after night. We're in urban Seattle, so it is not dark, but soon this all will be heading somewhere much, much darker.

Not the biggest or most expensive, but it in my most humble opinion, deserves a place in the 'frac' thread...

We don't care about size or expense - just so long as its long(ish) and pointy with the glass at the right end ;)

After an embarrassingly long time since I got it the new mount, I've finally set up my EQ6-R pro with my SW 80ED. Because the saddle is so meaty I can't quite properly balance it with an EP or the finder in place so I'll need to sort that out.

I also can't help thinking it looks a touch overmounted but it's a nice problem to have!

My goodness, these FC 76 DCU’s seem to be multiplying 😊

super setup 👍🏻

Thanks. The scope is phenomenal and it's a joy to use with that mount/tripod combination - lightweight yet sturdy.

They do indeed... all tricked out now...  FeatherTouch Pinion focuser and a 6x30 right angle finder (don’t worry, the Takahashi finder has moved to the FS-60CB). One handed carry, with a small eyepiece carry case, so can roam around the farm a bit with it 👍
