Don’t like to tell you this John, but I think someone might have nicked your green & black from your focused while you weren’t looking

I'm testing a secret design for Tele Vue - it's "cloaked"

these are my current Fracs.

TMB 152 yard cannon, TMB115 and my grab and go Tak FC100DF

Wonderful, Neil!

What's the altaz mount on your larger scopes?

I see you use the tripod tray on your Berlebach for the same purpose as I do 🙂

Gorgeous refractors Neil

I'm wondering the same as Jeremy re: the 152 mount .....

The CNC TMB's were something else ! - heavy I believe but superbly built.

It is actually just the Losmandy tripod there, the mount is an APM AZmaxload, setup with the solar filter there. I used to put it on a G11 but recently been using a CGX-L which is more stable than the G11

The 152 is on the APM AZmaxload, the 115 is on the Rowan  AZ100 with the glasses carrying tray lol.

OK - that's answered the question for me as well. The Maxload makes sense with a scope like that. Matthew uses one for his 200mm APM / LZOS.

Mmm 200 APM / LZOS, now that is a serious dream scope.

My mistake, Matthew's is "only" the 180mm. Still pretty dreamy:

The APM 7.1" Triplet Apo - First Proper Pictures - The Astro ...

Hope Matthew does not mind me sharing this. We had a "show us your LZOS scope" thread a while back:

I really need to learn to smile.  Most people would have a beaming grin the day they took delivery of that scope!  😄

Given the weight of the 180, as awesome as the 200 would be, I would never be able to travel with it.

I'm sure you were grinning a lot on the inside Matthew - I certainly would have been

The Starquest rebrand is nice looking. The only really bad thing about the Startravel is they're called Startravel!

There's some nice scopes here under the miles of cables. An alt az mount with one telescope attached is enough for my squidgy brain... 🙄

With the long refractor, you need them !

Yeah I had never really thought about it until I saw your picture. But then, I have never looked through a refractor (disregarding the supermarket 60mm I started with).

I might try to keep it that way or I will end up wanting one! 😄
