Mountainmadman, the planetarium is very good, located in Mawson Lakes, It used to a regular feature for the Astronomical Society of South Australia when they met there many years ago,  But they meet now at the Adelaide University in the city.

Hi Trev,

yes, I know Mawson Lakes.  It's where we stayed with our friends, where they live.  Had a few brunch visits to the Boat Deck Café by the lake there too.  Just a shame that there wasn't anything on at the Planetarium whilst we were in Adelaide though.

Look forward to reading any reports you have of observing from around there.
