Sun v Scope = kids

The sun was out today which meant the scope and the solar filter had to come out.Some great view's of our star and the kids really enjoyed it too

Great to see the interest from the younger generation and that they are being versed properly in the safety side of solar obs.

I was at Newlyn with the BBC for the eclipse event in March and some old chap (nothing to do with our Society I hasten to add) was going around with a colander telling people to look through it at the sun, not the projected images! We soon corrected him!
