Is this a triplet or doublet

Recommended Posts

Photo of one of the lens groups in my new set of binoculars with a collimating beam passing through.

I would assume that a doublet would get 3 hits and an air spaced triplet 5 hits.

If it's a triplet then this is an added bonus I was not expecting.

Likely impossible to say, even in standard binoculars you will have up to 8 air/glass interfaces (some will be glass/cement but they reflect also) and so 8 possible reflections.

What are the binoculars?

They were described by the seller as Helios Quantum 5's with 100mm objectives but the photos online are close but not the same.

Searched all of Google and can't find an exact likeness.

Here's a photo.
