Hi guys

Another mosaic from the early evening on 27th.  This shows the region from Maurolycus going down to Hipparchus and the straight wall.  Seeing was fair to good; a lot of fast scintillation, but reasonable detail visible.

C14, ASI 174MM, red filter 1.5x Barlow.

Thanks very much everyone for the positive comments!

An absolutely incredible image! What was your technique in producing it?

Just the normal stuff Murray.  According to the log file produced by FireCapture, I was running at about 38 fps at full-frame (1936x1216).  Each image was 400 out of about 2000-2300 frames stacked in AS!2.  These were sharpened using wavelets in Registax 6, then saved as 8-bit BMP files, so I could put them together in iMerge.  I still do not think Microsoft ICE does a satisfactory job for high(ish) resolution work.  After that, it was just contrast adjustments in Photoshop and a little bit of sharpening using Focus Magic
