Just seen M42 thru the 8" Newt' and a 17mm Plossl!

Tonights view is the best I have seen to date; blew my sox clean off; awestruck; trying not to swear... You get the idea!

Shade, texture, pinpoint trapezium stars and WOW, I had no idea it was so big :shock:

Off to have another look
