Hi,

This is a widefield image of the NGC 3756 and others that form the UM Super Cluster grouping. Abell 1318 is a faint collection of smudges at the top right hand of the image just above the dying red super giant SAO 28064 which at a distance of 411 LY is blocking the blue light from NGC 3733 at 55,000,000 LY. NGC 3737 is at  3 O'clock from the red giant and is thought to be part of the Abell 1318 which itself is part of the Ursa Major Super Cluster at a distance of 780,000,000 LY. The whole area is dotted with galaxy smudges from a very long distance.

This was supposed to be part of a mosaic of the area but I had to dump over 4 hours of data due to various reasons so this image is only the result of 2.5 hours of data from early this morning taken from my drive way in sunny Manchester.

10 X 900s subs processed in PI and PS.

SW 100ED @ F7.6 ( 0.85X FF/FR ), QHY8, IDAS D1 and HEQ5 with PHD guiding.

Thanks for looking.
