Nebulosity help

Recommended Posts

Hi I've been trying to load my images into Nebulosity 3.3 on my Mac but I can't get it to load them properly or debayer them.

It appears to be adding extra lines between the pixels so I just get a very wide stripy image.

This is zoomed into the a flat frame after loading it, no changes made:

These are after attempting to debayer with each possible option for the offset, 0-0, 0-1, 1-0 & 1-1.

Finally this is the whole flat frame saved as a JPEG immediately after opening:

It's not supposed to be this wide.

This happens on all the images from my camera.

I am using a Fuji Finepix S5 Pro that saves its raw files as .RAF.

These open fine in PI, DSS, Preview and Gimp.

I tried adjusting the pixel size settings to no avail.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

there is a good you tube video by astronomy shed on how to process your files in nebulosity, just follow that if you have laptop & a desk top you set them both up and work alongside the video hope this helps.

I have wrote the directions down on a sheet of A4 so i can follow them without watching the vid

I don't really want to do anything to them before they have been calibrated, I'm hoping there is a way to get Nebulosity to open them up properly.
