Nexstar 130 SLT

Hi folks,

I have had an offer of a Nexstar 130 slt but the seller has said the hand set lights up and the mount will move a bit but then stops. He thinks it may be just a broken wire, he is not telescope savy and lives quite a bit away from me so before I commit myself to go and see it, do you think it could be just a broken wire or is the symptoms the warning of far bigger problems? He is looking for £100 for the scope.

If you can test it out and get to the bottom of the problem maybe you can consider it. What is he using for power?
