Heading out of the Solar System...

Hi all,

I feel like I've been trapped in the Solar System over the past few months (years!) with lots of solar, lunar and planetary imaging. Time to break free again :(

Here's a shot I took back in February of the Rosette Nebula. A Canon 40DH attached to a Takahashi E-130 Astrograph. 46x 60s exposures @ ISO 1600.

Near or far Pete, your images are always top drawer. Does this mean we are going to get a feast of Deep Sky Goodies.

I have to say, you have some great competition when it comes to those. I am sure you know that though. :(

Ron. :D

That's what makes it fun Ron. I'm a bit rusty on deepsky but I'm looking forward to getting re-acquainted with some old favourites (and some new ones). After a few technical hitches the autoguider is back in business so that's a positive step.
