2015.04.06 Venus @ F10 AND F20

Venus from the 6th with the usual set up of C9.25/ASI120mm, 1st image without x2.5 Powermate. I found it very difficult obtaining good focus with the Powermate. I do have a Violet filter that I will try next time to maybe try and show a little surface detail a long shot I know, but nothing ventured as they say!

Thanks for all the comments looking forward to another go on Venus soon. The violet Wratten 47 is a recommended filter for Venus, but obviously some excellent seeing conditions will be a must as well.
