Hi all, ive been reading alot of your posts regarding imaging. Very helpful so thank you all.

I have a skywatcher 250px and took my first images of jupiter at the weekend. Im hoping to post up soon. Do I need to do this using a desktop PC as im having difficulty trying via mobile.

Hi Chris,

Warm welcome to SGL. Firstly, great scope you have there. For ease of use then I would say a netbook, laptop or pc. I am sure you could put on xd card and take from tablet .

If you are going to take large images or do any post image processing I would stick to something that has sufficient 'grunt' that you are not waiting all day for the s\w to do its work.
