Just thougth I'd say hello. My name's Stephen and I'm from Surrey. I'm a photographer that has fallen for astronomy thanks to the wiley charms of Mssrs Cox and O'Brain (along with the majority of new joiners, no doubt!). I apologise in advance for the litany of stupid questions I will inevitably ask!

Hi Stephen and welcome to SGL. If you want to involve yourself in imaging straight away, then your first purchase to consider, should be a copy of Steve Richards book... "making Every Photon Count" see FLO top of page. This book is probably on the book shelves of the majority of imagers on the forum here and abroad. An essential read, before contemplate spending your hard earned money, enjoy the forum
