M101 Windmill galaxy

Recently I made images of M101. Color was not perfect yet, but then I got a message from Irving Pieters who offered to share his data. We combined our data and stacked them together. He also had good colordata, with as a result the attached image. Some of the weak structures around M101 already start to show up. I hope in May, when I go for holiday to the Eifel, to grab some more very deep data to make these faint structures even better visible.

Exposure:
Lum: 142 x 300s (11,8 h)
RGB: 25 x 300s (2,1 h)

Telescope: TMB-92SS / TS Powernewton 8″ f/2.8
Camera: QSI583

Thanks!!!

Olly: I fully agree about the longer subs. Unfortunately on the night that I imaged the moon was up quite high, so with 300s I already had a histogram which was clearly separated on the left side. I want to try again on a moonless night. Unfortunately my May holidays it's full moon :( so I probably have to go for narrowband then...
