We are just starting out.    Bought a celestron astromaster 114eq and trawling adverts for eyepieces at the moment.

Interest really comes from my daughter who has been using stellarium and a pair of binoculars for a while and has been asking about telescopes.   So I'm starting her with a cheapish set up to see how she gets on.
