For those taking scopes to the Eclipse Event....

Recommended Posts

Some of you may know that I'm working with Mark and MESC to run educational activities for the school children attending the Eclipse Event.

I know many of you are taking scopes along to the event and are happy for people to come and look through them.  I'm therefore attaching some information about the activities, so that you know what is happening and can hopefully help make it as educational and fun for the kids as possible.

I attach: a brief with info in it; a tag which it would be great if you could attach to your scope; and a copy of the booklet we are giving to each child.

Any questions or suggestions please shout

Many thanks  :icon_salut:

Hi Helen,

I will be bringing a Lunt LS50THa and a Startravel 102T (on the same Giro mount) and have printed off the data sheets.

I am more than happy for the kids to take a look and see the difference between Ha and white light filters.
