Nikon D3300 DSLR Camera

Could anyone advise weather a Nikon D3300 DSLR camera would be any good for Astrophotography?

They're all usable although Canon seems to have the most comprehensive astro support. I use a Sony and get by.

Nothing wrong with using a Nikon for AP, Canon have a lead in software but its gradually leaverling out, you will get links in this thread what to use, if your not going the laptop way then one of these will do a good job..
