swag72
I fancied bagging this for some time and was utterly inspired by Tim's excellent rendition of M1. What I discovered is that the milky effect that can often be seen in the middle of M1 is NOT in narrowband. I know that this is a crunchy rendition and will not be everyone's cup of tea, some do prefer the softer look. Lars
I really like this rendition a lot.And I notice that you also captured a hint of the strange OIII part that stretches upwards out of the nebula (you can see it more clearly if you stretch your OIII subs a little more)./Lars

Gina
Great Image Sara I'm on this but lacking clear skies Not helped by the fact that M1 disappears from view around midnight. And I have only just got my gear working again recently.

PatrickGilliland
Great colours in there Sara - the purple works really effectively to add some emphasise - not sure an super nova is a particularly soft or fuzzy place so think a little crunch is well suited to the object. swag72
Thanks Manoss and Paddy - Appreciate you both looking - Glad that you like it. I was saddened to not find the milky centre that I wanted, but if it;s not there in narrowband, then so be it
PatrickGilliland
Nothing to be sad with that image! Having totalled about 50 minutes of imaging in the last month I would be more than satisfied with something halfway close to that. What about a little LRGB blending or is it right in the middle and too fiddly?Paddy
