Nice sketch which has just prompted me to have a look at this with my 10x50s. It stands out very well. I've never noticed it before, but it's amazing how it seems to grab your attention more when it's a recognisable pattern with a name.

I first noticed this when I was scanning that area trying out my then newly acquired wide angle Bins.

At that time it grabbed my attention as it looked like a big question mark (?), it was only later that I discovered that it was called "The Seven Sisters of the Pole"
