manenschijn Posted March 8, 2015 Author Share Posted March 8, 2015 Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! I've been out there for two nights in a row now, and I love it! Although it's not easy to fit the XT8 in a Panda.I've also encountered my first problem: the finderscope (Orion 9x50) seems to heavy and when looking at objects at the horizon, the scope is not steady. I guess some counterweight at the other end of the tube should fix this problem. How should I do this? I was thinking about adding some velcro, so I can be flexible with adding weight.
