I have never thought I will end up in the astronomy forum, but here I am.

My name is Patrik and by the spelling you can tell I'm not from UK. I'm from Slovakia (and I will be returning there as soon as my studies are over) but currently in UK for 11th year, working towards my degree.

Just over a year ago my sister tragically passed away and left me some astro gear. I didn't want to sell it - instead I started to use it.

Since then, few bits and pieces have been added and I started with imaging. Deep-sky, as this is what I like most.

I'm not sure I will be a very active member, but I'm sure I'll be here as often as possible.

I have already used this forum before for tips and reviews and found it very good.

So thanks for having me here. And please be patient, as I'm still learning. And sorry for my spelling
