A similar remark made by the late great George Burns AM. When just before getting married to a much younger woman, he was asked.

"Are you not worried about a heart attack" to which he replied. "If she dies she dies.".

Since he was so fond of his his late wife Gracie Allen, It may not have been him, but someone else I fear. Maybe someone else will know the author.
