Jellyfish IC 443

Has anyone observed this Supernova remnant in Gemini?  

I believe that this nebula is larger than a full moon, responds to an OIII filter and large aperture, though is visually quite challenging.

I have just downloaded some charts (doesn't appear to be in Pocket Sky Atlas) so will give it a try if the weather improves over the new moon phase.

Nice in my intense 8" the brighter arc is good. See if you can pick up the monkey head first. If these work then go south and look for lowers nenula. Happy hunting.

Ok thanks Peter, yes I have been able to pick up the Monkey Head, so as you mention would be a good and close target to determine transparency prior to heading towards IC 433. Which I hasten to add is referred to in the Pocket Sky Atlas so my mistake there.
