NGC 281 pacman nebula

Managed to get a total of 18 min total exposure on this target december 25th 2014, and finally got to process it.

With the little data i had from my unmodded 550D it was a struggle to get out any details at all, but it turned out better then i thought it would.

Well done in getting anything at all out of this wretched object! And with so little data.

With an un-modded DSLR you're loosing an awful lot of the H-alpha, which is why your image is mostly blue (From the [OIII] and a little H-beta) with only a fringe of red from the H-alpha.

Still a jolly good show!
