February 6/7, 2015: Best Jupiter to date, I think

Recommended Posts

Just captured a whole load of data with the ASI120MC (didn't feel like faffing around with the filter wheel). Stacked some with drizzle (1.5x) in AS!2, deconvolution, unsharp masking and saturation tweaks in Astra Image 4.0. Slight tweak of curves in GIMP. Will process and post more tomorrow:

I have switched from wavelets to LR-deconvolution and unsharp masking in my solar images, I am now seeing how far it will get me in planetary. The above ones are just a quick process, I will post better ones later.

Nice shots Michael. Any reason for not using Regi for wavelets? It is not in your process flow.
