Jupiter January 22nd in the cold

It was a cold 7 degrees F in upstate NY, and I was dodging clouds, by far these shots blew away my prior Jupiter attempts. 

Celestron nexstar 6SE, Skyalign for setting up the scope, Orion starshoot all-in-one, closeup with a basic celestron 2x barlow, only using GOTO set in alt-az/no guiding, Registax about 1000 frames for the close image/600 for the four moon view.

I'd like to add an electric focuser and a heat/lens shield setup for the frost - limited my time out there quite a bit (I was just getting started!).  It's been a fun 2 years of Astronomy and Astrophotography since getting my first telescope, looking forward to learning more.

Great shot and excellent detail - well caught between the clouds. Looks like all the snow and cold weather has improved the seeing.

That's an amazing level of detail for relatively small images. Great detail in the cloud belts. The cold obviously makes for good imaging!

Thanks!  I'd like to try and get some shots of Venus' (partial) disk, and attempt a bigger Jupiter stack before rotational distortion...if the weather would only cooperate .
