Luna experiment

Been waiting to give this a try, 150p ds/1000D and a x1.6 barlow lens fitted to a 1.25 nosepiece.

Yes the focus is out a little and i have had to push wavelets hard to tidy it, but it was taken just to see if the camera would focus using this set up......it does, so this was taken at 1200mm focal length

I presume everything on the camera was in M mode. If it ever stops bucketing down I'm itching to get out and shoot!

Cheers, yes camera in M mode, did not notice settings.

Things will be different from new garden, my 150 pro mak is getting an 8SE goto mount, this may well find itself mounted on a pier, then i will be back to doing mainly high res Luna at f25-f30

One problem with this, i had figured @f8 1200mm focal length, i would have got a full moon in the frame of the 1000D, however it appears not, any pointers on this?
